This is a guide for the key hash website. This guide is a simple explanation of how to use the key hash website.

Translations

If you have followed the link you will be able to see the website is in German so the first thing I will do is just tell you what the fields and buttons mean in English.

Spielername = Player Name
CD-KeyHash = CD-KeyHash

enthält = contains
beginnt mit = begins
endet mit = ends with
ist gleich = is equal

Nur Spieler, die gerade online sind = Only players who are online now
Fakenicks zeigen = Fakenicks show

Suche starten = Start search
Reset = Reset


Searching for players

Let's say for some reason you wanted to search for me. You would select the first field as Spielername (Player Name), the second field as beginnt mit (begins), type my name; "*[WBS]* Tuesday" into the search box then press Suche starten (Start search) however we had beginnt mit (begins) selected so we could have just typed "*[WBS]* Tues" to save time. If I was online you could have had Nur Spieler, die gerade online sind (Only players who are online now) selected which would narrow the search.

From the search you should have multiple results due to other people using my name, my CD key hash is 381dc6604cff6d14a673a68947e5d2edso click on it.

Now you should be able to see all the names I have used and also which servers I have recently used those names on among other things.

You can also do a server search.  For example, if you where playing in WBS, you could go to 'Server Suche' (Server search) on the top, then type "world" and press enter, you have 3 options, just find "World Best Soldiers Modded 1.6" and click on the icon of the magnifying glass... It will show you the names of everyone currently in the server AND all the names they have ever used on that key

It also shows you there score in server points and (K,D)  Kill,death AND the order they appear is based on what team they are on and who is in first, sencond, ect. on that team
On the top of the page you can see info about the server like this.

Not really... take me for example, if you search my name, 3 results come up with the *[WBS]* or *[WBSR]* tag on them.
The first result is well... a little hard to tell who uses it because several diffrent people use it...
The second result is very easy to tell that it is me, only really my name has been used on it, and my name is used most.
The third result is easy to tell that it isnt me because android is one of the least used names on the list, it is Mafia Hellraiser...

So no, as long as you know what your looking for, its hard to get the wrong person.

You have your CD key that you enter in when you install the game.
Your Key Hash is just a number that the game makes by encrypting that key through a process called MD5

The keyhash is ment to identify a player, without giving away the actual cd key.

for example, if your CD key is 1234-123456-123456-1234, when you MD5 encrypt it, you get d5653a22d3d14854c623ddd07f60c3e5 (the hash), no matter what program you use, you will never be able to get d5653a22d3d14854c623ddd07f60c3e5 to look like 1234-123456-123456-1234, unless you use a brute force hash attacker, but on a normal computer, it would take over 170 years to decrypt it.
this is why it is save to give away your key hash.

Well, how does that have 2 do with being able 2 tell wether sum1 is also sum1 else (nickname)

Every time you go online, that website recordes the name your useing with the keyhash you have.
