its not so simple mid scrap to just say lets take this some place else, not to mention once an aa locks onto you, you are basically dead or close to it, which makes you vunerable anyway. plus on maps like battleaxe, the AAs at the front of the main bases can reach the other base which means planes are pretty much ineffective in the main part of the map

Then that opens up play for those who actually want to use a gun. If you want to use a plane, get good at it! Mods are not truly needed.
